Hello and welcome to Wonky Picnic!

Wonky Picnic is an independent accessories brand founded by me, Nadia, and based in the North of England. This brand was born out of my love for all things fruity, miniature objects and a continual admiration of the natural environment and the simple everyday. It never ceases to amaze me!

Every product on here has been lovingly crafted by my own two hands. With years of experience with crocheting, I also started to experiment with clay and jewels after I graduated as I didn’t have access to the materials and machines that I used for my graduate collection. Handcraft has been a lifelong obsession for me, and I’ll continue to explore new techniques and processes — watch this space for some VERY exciting new additions to the picnic in 2021!

The wonky world of Wonky Picnic injects an essence of whimsy into our hand made accessories, ideal for those unique souls that find joy in the everyday.

Hello! I’m Nadia the designer and maker of Wonky Picnic.

I studied Printed Textiles and Surface Design at Leeds Arts University, specializing in hand processes and materials. Mainly screen print and mold making, check out @kippax_design on Instagram if you fancy having a look at my graduate collection!

Funnily enough the majority of my work at uni was based around fruit and everyday objects, so much so that one of my tutors exclaimed rather loudly “NO MORE BANANAS NADIA”, needless to say the studio chuckled and I did not listen to that advice.
